Warung Nasi Ayam Bu Oki is a gem in the bustling area of Tuban, offering a taste of authentic Balinese flavors at an affordable price.  Located on Jl. Raya Tuban No.3, this small restaurant specializes in Nasi Ayam, a beloved dish in Bali that combines a variety of flavors and textures on one plate. Location & Ambiance This warung is quite small and can be easily missed if you're not paying attention.  The main menu revolves around Nasi Ayam, which consists of a portion of rice served with various accompaniments like fried chicken (my personal favorite), Ayam Betutu (Balinese spiced chicken), Sate Lilit (minced meat satay), and a selection of vegetables.  The restaurant's modest size does come with some downsides, which I’ll get into later. What I Ordered   During my visit, I ordered the Nasi Ayam and Sate Lilit. Both dishes were packed with flavor, with the fried chicken standing out as a highlight.  The Sate Lilit was also delicious, offering a tender and flavorful bite that complemented the rest of the meal perfectly. The portions were generous, and at a price of Rp 25,000–50,000 per person, it’s hard to argue with the value you’re getting.   Taste & Price Simply put, I LOVE IT! The food at Warung Nasi Ayam Bu Oki is absolutely worth the price. The combination of well-seasoned chicken, spicy sambal, and perfectly cooked rice made for a satisfying meal that left me wanting to come back for more.  The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. Downsides However, there are a few drawbacks to keep in mind. Due to its popularity, the warung often has long queues, so be prepared to wait, especially during peak hours.  The eating area is also quite small and can get hot, which might be uncomfortable for some. These factors can take away from the overall dining experience, but the delicious food makes it worth enduring these minor inconveniences. Conclusion Warung Nasi Ayam Bu Oki is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience authentic Balinese food without breaking the bank. While the small, hot eating area and long queues might be a downside, the incredible taste and affordable prices more than make up for it. If you’re in Tuban, don’t miss out on this local favorite!

The facilities are super clean, which adds to the overall positive experience. Coffee I had the piccolo coffee, and everything was excellent. The coffee, in particular, was well-prepared, making it a great choice for coffee lovers. I didn’t try the food tho as I just came for a coffee breakfast. Service The service at Revolver Seminyak is top-notch. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that your experience is nothing short of delightful. They promptly serve your orders, and their warm demeanor adds to the café’s welcoming vibe. Overall Revolver Seminyak is highly recommended for anyone looking for a great breakfast spot in Bali. With its great atmosphere, excellent food and coffee, and friendly service, it’s definitely worth a visit. Whether you’re there for a casual coffee or a full breakfast, you’re in for a treat. Here’s an honest review based on my recent visit. Atmosphere and Service Milk & Madu boasts a laid-back, tropical vibe with plenty of outdoor seating, making it the perfect place to unwind, whether you’re grabbing a bite solo or dining with friends and family.  The decor is chic yet casual, with a blend of rustic wooden furnishings and lush greenery that adds to the overall charm. The service, however, can be hit or miss. On a good day, the staff is attentive, friendly, and quick to cater to your needs.  But during peak hours, you might find yourself waiting a bit longer for service, especially if you’re seated outside. Despite the occasional slow service, the staff remains polite and eager to please. The Food     Milk & Madu’s menu is a blend of comfort food classics with a twist, catering to a wide range of palates.  Caesar Salad I opted for the Caesar Salad with grilled chicken, and it did not disappoint. The baby romaine was fresh and crisp, providing a satisfying crunch in every bite. The grilled chicken was well-seasoned and tender, complementing the crispy bacon and perfectly poached egg. The croutons added an extra layer of texture, and the anchovy dressing was rich and flavorful without being overpowering. Overall, a solid choice for a light yet filling meal. Home Made Penne with Chili Flakes The homemade penne was a pleasant surprise. Cooked to al dente perfection, the pasta had just the right amount of bite. The chili flakes added a subtle heat, which was balanced by the sauce’s tangy undertones. While it wasn’t the most memorable pasta dish I’ve had, it was comforting and satisfying, particularly if you enjoy a bit of spice. Drinks Milk & Madu offers a variety of refreshing beverages, from freshly squeezed juices to creative cocktails. Passion Fruit in Glass The passion fruit drink was a tropical delight. Tart, tangy, and bursting with flavor, it was the perfect thirst quencher on a hot Bali day. The drink was well-balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness to counter the fruit’s natural acidity. Lychee Iced Tea in Glass The lychee iced tea, on the other hand, was a bit underwhelming. While the flavor of lychee was present, it lacked the punch I was expecting. It’s a decent choice if you’re looking for something light and refreshing, but it didn’t leave a lasting impression. If you’re with a group, consider ordering these drinks in jugs to share—it’s more economical and ensures you won’t run out too quickly. Value for Money Milk & Madu is not the cheapest café in Bali, but you do get what you pay for. The quality of the ingredients, the portion sizes, and the overall experience justify the slightly higher price point. It’s a great spot for a leisurely brunch or dinner, especially if you’re looking to indulge in some comfort food in a relaxed setting. Final Thoughts Overall, Milk & Madu lives up to its reputation as one of the best cafes in Berawa. The atmosphere is inviting, the food is consistently good, and the variety on the menu means there’s something for everyone. While there are a few areas for improvement, particularly in service, it’s a solid choice for anyone looking to enjoy a meal in a cozy, open-air setting. Would I recommend it? Absolutely, especially if you’re in the area and looking for a casual yet satisfying dining experience. Here's my honest take on the dining experience, highlighting the pros and cons. Pros: Homemade Fresh Pasta: The pasta here is made from scratch, right in front of your eyes. This adds a special touch to the dining experience, and you can taste the freshness in every bite. I chose the creamy salmon pasta, and it was absolutely delightful, with the pasta perfectly cooked and the salmon adding a rich flavor. Excellent Service: The service was outstanding. The food was ready in about 10 minutes, and the waiters were friendly and polite, making sure that every need was attended to. Despite being by a busy main road, the atmosphere inside remained relaxed and welcoming. Great Value for Money: The prices are more than fair, especially considering the quality of the food. My creamy salmon pasta and a well-made Margarita both came under 100k IDR, which felt like a steal given the experience. Comfortable Atmosphere: Despite the restaurant's location on a busy street, the ambiance inside was comfortable and laid-back. The outdoor seating added to the charm, making it a great spot to unwind with a good meal. Perfect Pairing: I never thought pasta and Margarita would go so well together, but PASTA, BITTE! proved me wrong. The Margarita was well-made, and the pairing with pasta was surprisingly delightful. Cons: Street Noise: The restaurant is situated right by a main road, so there’s some noise from passing traffic. While it didn’t ruin the experience, it’s something to be aware of if you’re looking for a completely serene dining environment. Pricey for the Area: While the prices are reasonable considering the quality, they are a bit on the higher side for the Canggu area. However, given the freshness of the ingredients and the overall experience, it’s still worth it. Final Verdict: PASTA, BITTE! is a gem in Canggu for anyone craving fresh, homemade pasta in a cozy setting. The service, atmosphere, and food quality make it a place I would 100% recommend. Despite the slight noise from the street and the slightly higher prices, the overall experience was more than worth it. I’m definitely coming back for more! Smoothie Shop Jimbaran: Honest Review I recently visited a small but charming spot called Smoothie Shop Jimbaran, and I was pleasantly surprised by what they had to offer.  The menu features fresh, healthy options, and the design and atmosphere are both inviting and relaxing. What I Tried I opted for the Acai Bowl, which was priced at only Rp70,000 (approximately $4.67 USD).  It was absolutely delicious, packed with acai puree, banana, dragonfruit, strawberries, almonds, goji berries, and more, all topped with nut milk and pineapple chutney.  It’s probably the best smoothie bowl I’ve ever tried, and the environment, surrounded by trees, adds to the whole experience. Pros: The food is incredibly fresh, making it a great spot for vegans and raw vegans. The atmosphere is lovely, with a peaceful setting among the trees. The staff are very nice and friendly, making the experience even better. Cons: The location is near a street, so there is some noise, but it’s not overly loud. Final Thoughts I’ll definitely be coming back to Smoothie Shop Jimbaran. The food, service, and overall vibe make it a place worth revisiting. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by! This package included not only the purification ceremony but also a range of other spiritual and healing practices: Purification Ceremony Healing Therapy Palm Reading Aura Opening Chakra Activation Each component of the package promised a unique experience, and I was eager to explore what each had to offer. Arriving at the Melukat Site The day began early as I arrived at the sacred site where the Melukat ritual was to be held. The package provided all the essentials: a sarong, locker, towel, offering, and a guide who would lead me through the process. The atmosphere was serene, with the sound of flowing water from the nearby river adding to the sense of tranquility. As I donned the sarong, I felt a sense of connection to the place and the ritual I was about to undergo. The guide, who was knowledgeable and patient, explained the significance of each step of the ceremony, ensuring that I understood the cultural and spiritual importance of the ritual. The Purification Ceremony The purification ceremony itself was an incredibly moving experience. The Food We decided to try one of the restaurant’s signature dishes – the crispy duck. The dish was prepared quickly and tasted absolutely delicious. It was a delightful balance of textures and flavors that truly represents the best of Indonesian cuisine. The sate lilit was another standout. It was well-seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor. This dish is perfect for those who love the rich, aromatic taste of Balinese satay. The iced tea was refreshing, a perfect complement to the meal. It was sweet but not overpowering, making it an excellent choice for a hot day in Bali. Pros: Delicious, Authentic Food: The crispy duck and sate lilit were the highlights, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Great Ambiance: The view of the rice fields and the relaxed setting make it an ideal place to enjoy a meal, especially for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Bali’s tourist areas. Fast Service: The food arrived quickly, and the staff was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. Comfortable Seating: The large tables and soft seating enhance the overall dining experience.
